Introduction
Except for December, this circular is only published once a week. It contains job advertisements for positions in various public service departments.
Although the administration department issues the circular, it is not responsible for what is included in it. Those who wish to make inquiries should contact the appropriate advertising division.

Applicants must present all of their qualifications, experience, and training on form Z83. These should be forwarded to the appropriate department.
In addition, applicants should include the reference number for the position in their applications.
For those who require additional information about the position, they should contact the appropriate department.
This department is not authorized to collect personal information about applicants for positions.
All applications should reach the appropriate agencies before the advertised closing dates.
DIRECTION TO THE DEPARTMENT
All employees must be aware of the contents of this circular. They should also ensure that the advertised vacancies are communicated to the employees who are declared as overqualified.
Applicants from the excess group should be assisted in applying for positions immediately and in attending interviews if necessary.
In cases where there are vacancies that promote representativeness, certain provisions of the Employment Equity Act should be implemented. These include sections 15 and 20.
These vacancies should be advertised with a clear message that they are for promoting representativeness. In addition, the selection of candidates whose appointments will foster this objective should be prioritized.
The candidates should be selected based on the relevant qualifications and measures used in the Public Service.

Effective January 1, 2021, the Z83 application form will be updated. The new form will also be available in enhanced versions.
